Oak house - The Student Room People in my flat mostly go out with friends they already know from back home, so meeting new people is really limited. In OakHouse youre in a flat of eight, which has four boys and four girls split across two levels, with a bathroom on each floor. But besides that: tiny communal area, people drinking several times a week in almost every flat, no equipment, and I swear I dont know how I still didnt develop claustrophobia in these tiny corridors and my prison cell that they call a room. It wouldn't be worth paying for any of the more expensive accommodation as oak house has everything needed to live somewhat comfortably. You feel like you have your own house from the start, which is cool. Would not recommend to anyone, whether on strictest budget or not as even a room on a budget this small should be better than this shambles of a place.
